COMMUNITY SOLAR

Boviet Solar’s Gamma Series™ Monofacial and Vega Series™ Bifacial PV modules are specifically designed to meet the needs of community solar applications. Community solar refers to shared solar energy projects that allow multiple households, businesses, or organizations to benefit from a single solar installation without requiring panels to be installed on their own property.

These projects capture sunlight and convert it into electricity through the photovoltaic effect, generating clean, renewable energy that is distributed to subscribers through utility bill credits or other shared ownership models. Community solar arrays are typically installed on open land, commercial rooftops, or other suitable locations, maximizing energy production while making solar power accessible to a broader range of customers. Community solar projects offer numerous benefits to subscribers, developers, utilities, and local communities. Here are the key benefits:

  • Expanded Access to Solar Energy
  • Lower Electricity Costs
  • No On-Site Installation Required
  • Flexible Participation Options
  • Increased Renewable Energy Adoption
  • Reduced Carbon Footprint
  • Sustainability
  • Efficient Land and Infrastructure Use
  • Support for Local Communities
  • Grid Resiliency
  • Job Creation and Economic Development
  • Government and Utility Incentives

Overall, community solar provides an affordable and accessible pathway to clean energy for individuals and organizations that may not be able to install rooftop solar. By expanding access to renewable energy, community solar projects help lower energy costs, support local economies, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
